The Hexapla Project is a scholarly endeavor to collate all the extant evidence for Origen's Hexapla (a comparison study of various translations of the Old Testament from the second century). Scholars enter their research data in multiple languages, including Hebrew, Greek, Syriac, and Coptic. The goal of this multi-year endeavor is the publication of a critical edition in print and electronic forms.
Percipient Studios designed a user interface, database architecture, and web application that sets a new standard for projects in biblical studies. The design is very clear and easy to understand, yet packed with all the details that scholars need to do their work.
The site makes use of the latest web technologies and standards to provide what could not previously have been achieved on the web.
