Every year LCD supporters organise and take part in a variety of
events to raise money and give children in Africa the chance to have a
fulfilling education.

On Sunday the 31st of August 165,000 ducks will be released onto the Thames as part of:
Every time you sponsor a duck you stand a chance of winning a whopping £10,000!
It costs just £2 to adopt a duck, but every penny you donate over that £2 comes direct to LCD.

London Marathon

London to Malawi Overland
Alex Butcher cycled across South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique making his way to Malawi, an amazing 2300km in total. So far he has raised almost £3,000 for LCD and the World Land Trust. Click here to read more about his incredible journey.
