The Morocco and Prague Hitch

What is the Hitch?

In the 17 years the Hitch has been running, over 4,440 people have successfully thumbed lifts across Europe. The Hitch takes place during the Easter period, with the average journey to Morocco around 6 days.

In 2003 LCD decided to offer an alternative and equally exciting destination; Prague. At 800 miles, the Prague Hitch is a shorter journey than the Morocco Hitch, ideal for those with a limited time in which to complete the Hitch, but who still want to participate during their Easter holiday.

Registration for 2009 is not yet open. Registration fee is expected to be just £27 which provides for a Hitch t-shirt, a Hitch information pack and support all the way to Morocco/Prague! Sign up on-line by Xmas 2008 and receive a £5 discount on your registration fee.

With a minimum fundraising target of £350, not only will you take part in one of the biggest challenges around, but you can do so in the knowledge that you are helping to provide a better education for many less fortunate than themselves.
