Things not to miss ...
 The Café Culture
Prague is famed for its bohemian, kafkaesque café culture and tea-houses, and
you can spend all day relaxing alongside the banks of the river watching the
world go by and enjoying the delicious cakes on offer.
 The City
At the heart of old town is Staroměstské
náměstí, one of the most magnificent squares in Europe and,
of course, the famous mediaeval Charles Bridge. The confusing web of narrow
streets around this area, house an array of interesting cafés, bars, pubs and
restaurants. Take in the hustle and bustle of the winding alleyways or lose the
crowds in the matrix of back streets and check out the interesting gothic
architecture. In the evening discover a wide variety of entertainment from
classical music and puppet shows to hardcore clubbing.
  The Beer!
You can't escape the fact that many people visit Prague due to the fame of
its beer. Czech beer ranks among the best in the world and the country remains
the true home of most of the lager drunk around the world today. Home of Pilsen
and Budvar, the city is a beer drinker's paradise especially as it is so cheap!
For an authentic experience head off the tourist trail to one of the traditional
Czech pubs (pivnice) designed for drinking copious amounts of Czech beer! If
beer isn't your thing then Prague is also one of the few countries in the world
that legally sells that lethal green spirit - absinthe, which at 70/80% can blow
your head off!
