Thornhill College in Northern Ireland is linked with Ramafole Senior Secondary School and Smuts Ndamase Senior Secondary School in South Africa, following Global Teachers Catherine Montgomery and Sue Gallagher's placements there in 2003.

Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân in Wales is linked with Nyantonzi Primary School in Uganda, following Global Teacher Ioan Dyer's placement there in 2002.

"The reaction of the children shows that they are now more aware of Uganda as a country and thirst to know more ... They show a new realisation that there are important issues such as way of life, food and recycling."

Preston Street Primary School in Scotland is linked with Saboro Primary School in Ghana.

"School is good for me because I want to be President of Ghana. School would be better if we had a toilet, some library books and the roof did not have holes in it."

Southfields Primary School in England is linked with Nyogbare Primary School in Ghana, following Global Teacher Jo Hallett's placement there in 2001.

"The school is making very good use of all the teaching and learning materials presented to us during your visit. The recorded songs and stories are played to each class ... pupils enjoy listening to them."

Boroughmuir High School in Scotland has been benefiting from Global Teacher Dougie McKenzie's work since his placement in South Africa in 2003.

"The Global Teacher placement has had a very positive effect on Dougie's professional development, linking with staff and pupils in this and other schools. Overall Dougie's placement has had a very positive impact on staff and pupils."

Carisbrooke C of E Primary School on the Isle of Wight was partnered with Kamurasi Demonstration Primary School in Masindi, Uganda in December 2006.
