Mark World AIDS Day with a Lesson for Life

This year, on and around World AIDS Day (1 December), 15 million children around the world will take part in a 'Lesson for Life', a lesson on HIV, AIDS, and the effect on children. Your students can be part of a global movement that encompasses 60 countries. To access resources, go to www.lessonforlife.org.uk.

Link Community Development is a partner in the Lesson for Life consortium, which includes Body & Soul, Plan International, Save the Children, UNICEF, VSO and World Vision.

HIV/AIDS is an important issue for children in the UK and Africa. World AIDS Day presents a great opportunity for sharing and learning with your link school in Africa about HIV/AIDS issues.

World AIDS Day events can be held as part of International Education Week. For further information, see www.teachernet.gov.uk/iew.
